Sean L. Phelan has been with McTighe, Weiss & O’Rourke since July of 2010. Sean attended Villanova University School of Law and graduated in May of 2008. During law school, he served as managing editor of Outside Articles for the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal and was a member of the Pro Bono Law Society. Following law school, he worked with the Justice James Fitzgerald III of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Sean assists John O’Rourke in all areas of litigation and general practice. His particular area of concentration is civil litigation, including insurance and medical malpractice defense, personal injury and premises liability.
Outside of the office, Sean is an active member of the Montgomery County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Villanova Law J. Willard O’Brien Inn of Court. He recently published a book of poetry, Staring at the Sea, and a novel, Coming of Age, half the proceeds of which go to the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Clarke School for the Deaf, respectively.
