McTighe, Weiss, O'Rourke, Troncelliti & Morgan, P.C.
has provided quality legal services in Montgomery County and the entire Philadelphia region for more than fifty years. The Firm's origins are traced to the late Desmond J. McTighe who operated the Norristown branch of the firm of Duffy, McTighe & McElhone in the early 1900s.

The Firm has gained, and maintained, a reputation of getting results for its clients by combining the time-honored traditions of the past with the most sophisticated and innovative techniques in the practice of law. Its philosophy has been, and remains today, accessibility to clients, direct communication and innovative, personalized service designed to resolve complex legal problems in the most cost effective manner.

Through the years, McTighe, Weiss has maintained longstanding representation of corporate and individual clients. It has represented clients in all Courts, State and Federal, both trial and appellate, in virtually every type of complex business and insurance litigation. The Firm's attorneys provide long term planning and traditional advice to businesses and individuals alike. Estate planning, including the preparation of wills and trusts, estate administration, and family law are active practice areas, as well.

The Firm's expertise in the organization, formation and operation of business enterprises has involved its attorneys in a wide range of corporate, commercial and financial matters: corporate financing, development loans, long-term financing, purchase and sale of real estate, equity/debt private placements, business reorganizations, liquidations and workouts.

McTighe, Weiss has honored the commitment made by its founder, Desmond McTighe, who was President of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations, Chairman of the Pennsylvania Board of Law Examiners and a noted community leader, to actively participate in community and Bar Association activities. The late Philip D. Weiss continued that tradition as President of the Montgomery Bar Association and member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He served as President of the Montgomery County Pennsylvania Emergency Services Hospital and Estate Planning Council. He was also a member of the Board of the Greater Norristown Corporation, an organization composed of business leaders committed to the revitalization of Norristown, and Board member and solicitor for Tiferet Bet Israel Synagogue.

Today, the shareholders of the firm have continued that commitment to the community and the Bar Association. Current members of the firm also hold leadership positions with the Montgomery Bar Association, serve on municipal Boards and Commissions, and on the Boards of community and charitable organizations throughout the area.
